WEDNESDAY - Disneyland
DISNEYLAND!! The happiest place on earth! I haven't been inside "It's a Small World" in a long time. Hopefully the girls will like it.
Here we go!
Renovations were completed back in 2009.
Olivia's favorite part of the ride, Ariel! :)
It's tea time outside Minnie's house in Toontown.
Waiting in line for Disney Junior show!
Olivia wanted to sit inside one of the cars. Madison wanted to drive.
This is just the beginning of a long five day weekend!
THURSDAY - Legoland Day 1
ROAD TRIP!! Off to Legoland in Carlsbad. The drive surprisingly took only 1 hour (no traffic + 85 mph)
We stayed at the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa across from Legoland.
Our "Ocean View" room.

We checked in, got situated, then walked down to the private entrance.
A few rules to know before going inside...
And here we are! Madison takes a picture with a Lego statue in Land of Adventure.
Having lunch at Knights Smokehouse BBQ in Castle Hill. Surprisingly good BBQ and really good original sauce.
One of my favorite parts of the park: Miniland USA. Here the girls take in Washington D.C.
Our nation's capital.
You can press the buttons over on the right and the characters move and/or play music.

I don't see Peet, Trinh or Cuc anywhere...
Olivia's been wanting to go to Heartlake City.
She doesn't like to take pictures but she made an exception for these characters.
Right outside the park is SEA LIFE Aquarium. The girls weren't fond of the fish, particularly the sharks. No luck finding any turtles too :(
Having a little fun inside.
One thing I did like about Legoland are their many playgrounds throughout the park, between 6-10 playgrounds to be exact.
Here the girls take a small break.
My little biker chick.
Here comes Madison!
Madison AGAIN wanting to drive the car.
Share the wheel Madison! Or not :)
No climbing little lady!
Ninjago just opened last week! Perfect timing.
Sensei Wu!
FRIDAY - Legoland Day 2
The Barbers came in late last night. Look at these sleepy heads...
Time to join the Barbers downstairs for some breakfast.
Our little munchkins.
Day 2 at Legoland. Here we enter Star Wars Miniland. Opened in 2013.
That smile :)
One of my favorite Star Wars pieces.
More Miniland USA. Hollywood Bowl.
Griffith Observatory, Los Angeles
Chinese Mann Theater, Hollywood
Lombard Street, San Francisco
Pier 39 with San Francisco skyline in the background. Another favorite in Legoland.
One of the few activities Olivia actually enjoyed: Eglor's Build-A Boat. It's simple: build a boat and watch it go down the miniature river!
We came back to Ninjago and Mai insisted Mitch and I try "Ninjago The Ride". It was pretty intense!
You swipe your hand one top of the board in front of you and you shoot fire onto multiple screens.
Slowly but surely Olivia began to get more comfortable with getting on rides. This was Skipper School. This was a simple and slow boat ride.
She even enjoyed the Safari Trek Ride :)
Sooooo exhausted! Quiet time for the parents :)

We had happy hour with the Barbers in the hotel restaurant. After we made our way upstairs to relax.
SATURDAY - Lily's Baptism
Do you like our makeshift car seat? On our way home the girls were taking a nap and then Madison threw up all over herself!!
We had to pull over, clean her up as well as the car seat.
This evening is Lily's baptism at Maria Regina Catholic Church in Gardena.
Father Sang Tran
Someone was being a little monster in church! We had to sit outside for a bit.
Why is she dancing I have no idea.
My sweetheart :)
SUNDAY - Lily's Baptism Lunch @ Tin Roof Bistro
The kids hanging outside after brunch.
What a long, exhausting five fun filled days :)
